iTunes Cover Status

Chew on this—It’s the iTunes and cover art script all blown up in handy Applescript application form. And yes, the requirements (GraphicsImporter OSAX, iChat AV) still hold. Pick it apart and further your own AS adventures…

[Edited 2003-08-26] I made some minor improvements to the script; it will now clear out the album cover when paused/stopped and properly resumes updating iChat from a stop.

[Edited 2003-08-27] The app now prompts for and stores the default chat icon in the script. I’d like to make the message pop-up repeat when, say, holding down shift when launching it, but haven’t found the appropriate Applescript commands yet. If you must, you can clear it out just by opening and saving it in Script Editor. It will also set iChat to the default settings when the script is quit.
