The reason why the footer of this site looks horrible in IE 7 is because Internet Explorer still does not understand the Table set of CSS display rules (e.g., display:table-cell). Of course Firefox, Safari, Opera and every other modern browser does, including the one on my cell phone. I haven’t exactly been in a rush to go and rework the entire layout just for this one case, but if anyone knows of any quick hacks to fix this egregious omission on IE’s part, then drop me a line or a comment!

Firefox 2.0 was released not long ago, but I’ve noticed something peculiar: tooltips based on an anchor’s “title” attribute no longer appear when the anchor is moused-over.

I’m curious… is this a bug, a new (undiscovered-by-me) preference, or simply a fundamental change in behavior by the Firefox developers?
